[Friday, January 16th, 2009 1:25pm] blah.. moved into a new apartment with these strange sorority girls that make me want to pull my hair out. hah, but it is cheap and close to work and school so i will deal. lots of interesting classes this semester. anthropology of food and eating, psychology of drugs and human behavior, and this one about alternative religions in history. i am most excited about that last one; i have to read a book about west african sorcerers! it's ridiculously cold here in edinboro. this morning my mother picked me up for bagels and coffee and her car told me it was -6 outside. i lost my gloves =( i have no cable or internet in my new apartment quite yet. next week, hopefully. i have been using the computers at the university library. you'd think i would be spending my time more constructively with the lack of technology, but i plugged my little tv in and have been watching the new season of american idol on fox, the only channel that will come in, and pigging out on the delicious cuisine delivered by my favorite local pizzeria. i have stacks of books that i want/need to read, but i haven't worked up the motivation to dive in to them quite yet. i need to get my shit together and be ten times more productive. things to do: finish unpacking, start reading for pretty much every class, buy more notebooks, don't order pizza from john's, stop judging my roommates.

[Sunday, December 28th, 2008 1:48am] i am moving out of my parents' house soon, so i took some pictures of my cozy little room before i started packing. i apologize if the quality of these photos is not consistently fine- i have been having a few camera issues, but i think i got a few decent photos. yeah yeah yeah [Friday, December 12th, 2008 1:56pm] my third semester of college is over! i took my last final at 8 am this morning & now i am ready for a month of finally having tons of time to read for pleasure. today i am having bouts of productivity. cleaned my room up real good cause i want to post it on ourbedrooms before i move out after christmas. mostly though i am just curled up with cups of chai and a good book & munching on pecans that i picked out of my mom's homemade chex mix. i am reading the boys in the trees by mary swan. it's really strange and dream-like. before the first half was over, all of the main characters were dead and i have no idea where it might go from here. (this is not a spoiler!)

[Saturday, September 27th, 2008 2:03pm] i've been thinking i might start updating this thing more. it's been a few months... i am tired of this username though. maybe a rename token is in order. send any and all ideas for new usernames this way plz.
